Commercial News Programs have become exactly that: commercials. I've timed the major national half hour news programs, and, at best, they produce 15 minutes of actual news (some of its "news" would just be mere headlines on a printed page). I call it Infotainment.

TV portrayed Trump as a successful businessman even though he bankrupted every business he started. and was only successful by fraud in his real estate "empire."

Cable News made Trump... Chris Matthews gave obscene amounts of air time to Trumps and a mere pittance to Clinton - legitimizing and popularizing the slimeball he thought he was instead exposing as a joke.
