All of Creation

Part One

Nothing in the Universe is random.

Only a novice would see it that way.

From molecules to galaxies,

From single cells to complex organisms,

Inert or organic, there is no difference,

A random, chaotic thermonuclear explosion -

How could that create an ordered Universe?

How could the smart and studious be figuring it all out?

Only a novice could deny an ordered Universe,

Deny its laws.

Great intelligence, amazing power,

Glorious love created the Universe.

Just like the Bible says.

In the Beginning God…

“God saw all that he had made,

And it was very good.

And there was evening,

And there was morning…”

Part Two

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good…” — Genesis 1:1–4.

Please listen and consider my thoughts. People say that the God of the Bible does not exist. Maybe there is something above, maybe there is some ethereal interconnectivity throughout all loving things, but they say they have tried God and He wasn’t there; He did not help me when I needed Him; He did not answer when I asked for something

Of course not.

Perhaps they are not asking but more like demanding. Maybe people require God to respond on their own terms, not on God’s. Of course not. Why should He? You think God should be at your beck and call? He is not a genie or a wishing well, yours to command or to throw pennies at. “…whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him in earnest.” Quit thinking of God as if He were a vending machine.

There is a starting point, after all:

  1. Come to the God who really does exist.
  2. Humble yourself so you can not only listen, but hear
  3. Turn around from your ways to seek His ways.
  4. Receive Him, greet Him personally into your life.
  5. Continue to listen and learn.

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’” You have to start somewhere, like right where you are. Jesus will never turn anyone away.

What I have experienced in my days of searching was that I continued to call out to God until He found me and took me in. That’s where new life begins. So I continue to listen and to learn. “…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus,” that is, the day of His return.
