Are you Julia's brother or husband?
Anyway, you seem like the honest sort, but you should know by now that "A person can be sincere, but be sincerely wrong." So, my first advice would be to continue to prayerfully read the Bible, seeking continually a closer walk with Jesus. Biblical Christianity is a process and not a "one and done" deal.
As for "talkin' 'bout my generation...", Jefferson Airplane had a saying that said "we sing to each other to keep our heads above water." We were a lost generation with the only redeeming quality of being searchers; We realized some things were seriously wrong with the world we were living in. So, you should not be envious of the 60's and 70's.
Many highways were available and put before us, and many tried many of those divergent routes. Looking back, I came up with a philosophical variant of the maxim about there being many roads that lead to God. It goes something like this: There are many ways people try to reach God and various places we start from, but there is only one gate that opens to the correct path. (It's not as catchy an adage, but I haven't come up with a condensed version.)
Many of my generation did not even look for a change, accepting the status quo as a rather comfortable pace to live out their lives.
Many wrong, destructive roads were traveled like the drug culture, those opting for revolution (see John Lennon's "Revolution" - The Beatles - Revolution
Those days were evil. Today, these days are apparently worse. But there is a continual thread woven throughout - a continuation from the fabulous quilt God is weaving, as can be read in the Bible accounts.
Eventually, God the Father will say "Enough!" and then the End will come.
One other thing has me a little worried about you, that is in your perception, "You wouldn't be surprised maybe, but there's so many demons that hangout in bars, I've failed many assignments sent from those people from another dimension....countless times."
Although demonic visitations are a possibility (and that is what I think you were experiencing), trying to fulfill their assignments can cause trouble for you in manifold ways. Please consider the possibility that you may have been hallucinating.
My experience in Bars was that there were plenty of decent people and trusted friends. Demons are often an internal dynamic; visitations are much rarer than many suppose (always blaming the Devil); and what is most concerning to me are your "many assignments from another dimension" which reminds me of the many cult-like deceptions of my generation (which, in fact, did not begin with, nor end with my generation).
As Christians our processes should come from reading the Bible studiously and prayerfully and from seeking God's presence in our lives, also prayerfully - certainly not spirits from some unknown "dimension."
Many songs of my era were folk songs as Peter, Paul, and Mary sang or Simon and Garfunkel, or Melanie, as well as others. They were very constructive. But there were also many songs that were very misleading, even destructive, blocking the pursuit of righteousness.
Nothing about music has changed. Some make you think. Some dull our brains. Some make you relax. Some raise our level of anxiety. Some make you dance. Some lull us to sleep. Some are conducive to meditating, thinking things through, what used to be called "getting it together" - which is actually a double entendre. Some are empty or even harmful. Here's some of my favorites:

Thank you for your encouraging and thoughtful response, but my physical situation prevents me from getting out anymore, although your advice to do so is excellent and appropriate.
