Cloistered Reality
Are we living too cloistered of a life? Too encapsulated to see what is going on around us? Let’s not continue to go down the path of conspiracy theories. Let’s not dig a hole so deep that we cannot escape its paranoia and its delusions. Let’s stop digging.
Many are trying to hold on to a world spinning out of control and are struggling in many ways to slow this carousel down, to open eyes to our self destructive ways, turning to a new direction in order to fix the damage. But there seems to be no slowing it down.
My struggle is to persuade people to turn to God — not necessarily religious sects nor denominations of Christianity — but earnestly calling on God — not foxhole religion — but a keep on asking, a keep on seeking, and a keep on knocking kind of believing. For when you get Jesus into your life, a new reality — not escapism — and a new ability — not blind faith — and a new realization will come into your life, helping you, encouraging you, and giving you insights, lighting up the map you need to follow.
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Or perhaps you prefer the direction the gods of this world are taking us?
