"Everyone has the right to their own beliefs and opinions. However, no one has the right to force their beliefs and opinions on others." I agree with everything in your essay, and I am glad you mention that there are more types of Christianity than the so-called "Christian Nationalists." Government does not belong in our churches or doctor's offices. Abortion is a terrible thing, but it isn't government's business, and it is actually far above their pay grade. Abortion is a terrible thing to contemplate, but there are many reasons why women have to make that decision. Again, above government's pay grade. "They can't run there own life; I'll be damned if they'll run mine." (from an old hippie song, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfPWginACjI ) One more thing... there's an old word that has become lost over time. It's called "persuasion." "What's your persuasion?" was a question applied to political and religious affiliations. As a Born Again Bible Believing Christian, I recognize that God gave us free will. So, persuasion is the only tool in our tool box, and that is how it should be for everyone.
