First, although I am reading them right after my response, I have hardly begun to read your first two essays revealing this Iscariot-like betrayal, and I have much to say, but Jesus says it best in Matthew 24, especially verses 3&4:
"While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”
Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many."
I wish people would be come more familiar with the Bible, especially what Jesus has said. Perhaps then they would not be taken by surprise and react in ways only hurtful to themselves like mentioned in the verses above their love growing cold.
Jesus moved around quite a bit around His homeland. Perhaps we should, too... and thereby without forsaking Him .
Jesus knew all the BS that would happen and did try to forewarn us. Yet, it remains our choice.
Just sayin'.
