First, comparing the real, historical person, Jesus, to mythical characters of legends and fables, is nonsensical.

Misquoting Christians whose understanding is perhaps vague, or misquoting Believers with poor communicastion skills and which you further contort , twist, and misnterpret is also non sensical.

Whereever you get your understnding of God's Judgment, justice, mercy, and righteiousness is horribly wrong and therfore, also nonsensical.

2 Peter 3:9 states, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish..." John 3:16 confirms God's tanscending and transforming nature, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

And those are just a glimpse.

One last thing, that I consider relating to God's Judgment, that is like "buying your ticket home" and also, there is a phrase used "He bought it" -

"Originating around the time of World War II, the phrase he bought it or he bought a packet referred to a pilot in a deadly crash. The phrase to buy the farm most likely refers to the plot of land that is one's final resting place." (https://www.waywordradio.org/buy-the-farm-origin.)

You need to understand this: John 15:13, ""There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." and Romans 5:7 - "Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. " Jesus actually did die for the objective of bringin each and every one of us into a right relationship with God, the Creator of all the Universe and the Earth.

I hope this help you to uncerstand better.
