First of all, I have no idea where the basis of the idea came from that any ransom was needed to pay Satan. Certainly not the Bible. Satan was the instigator of the Fall of Man, and God gave Eve the promise that her progeny would be changing all the consequences of the Fall and people's continued disobedience. Satan was never "in charge" of Mankind, and Mankind only owed and forever owes Satan scorn.
Second, while Jesus has been referred to as " the second Adam," Jesus is not a "redo" or some kind of retread. There was no "undoing." What was done was done, and what was done put Mankind on the road to the consequences of destruction. Here's a quote that might shed light: "The Apostle Paul tells us in his first letter to the church in Corinth, 'The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.' The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven” (1 Corinthians 15:45-49). - https://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-second-Adam
That is why Jesus said we "must be born again." (see Matthew 3:1-9)
Third, God has never lost His "honor." Here's a website that might shed some more light: https://www.watermark.org/blog/consistency-god - "Both Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8 declare that God is the same always and never ever changes. He is always good, always loving, always all-powerful. No matter how this world changes around us, we can trust God is consistent. He is the same yesterday, today, and Forever!"
Notwithstanding all my objections to the theories you cited, I really liked what you wrote at the conclusion of your article, quoting William Lane Craig, "I personally think that a full theory of the atonement is like a precious jewel that is multifaceted and includes all of these elements as facets of a full atonement theory."
Me too.
"Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12, Berean Standard Bible.
