For the two days before there were beautiful cloudless days. The day of was overcast with thicker high clouds than our local weather anchors were hoping. Patty and I had the glasses, but need them as there was only a tiny opening in the clouds at the diamond ring. Yay. My daughter had a better view about two miles away down on the beach by the river. We always sit in the backyard with beverage in hand and music. So the oly difference was we weren't playing Scrabble and it got completely dark. Yay. By the by, its another completely cloudless day today...
