Great subject... My opinion? And I know noone asked... This points out the slight difference where belief replaced participation, where a claim replaced an experience. If anyone really wants to compare the two, the Disciples experienced the baptism in the Holy Spirit in which they received the promised power (Acts 1:8) without which, the inner, personal heart changes cannot accomplish the Great Commission... the mission becomes reduced to a "he said/she said" intellectual debate... What's the progression again? Head knowledge; heart knowledge; heart changes; head changes.., what I see being omitted is the power dynamic of receiving that promised power...
