I advise folks to start with either the account John gives in the Bible or Luke’s systemic account he researched, including Acts. When the writers of the New Testament refer to “the Scriptures” they are refering to the Old Testament. Lastly, there are a few times when translators skew a word here and there to there own presuppositions, So take the Bible as a whole. Our understandings can be misunderstandings. The Bible doesn’t contrdict itself; our perceptions can be skewered. Anyways, keep thinking and dwriting.
