I agree wholeheartedly with your First Amendment analysis, until you showed a tinge of prejudicial favoritism with a rather broad brush, painting evangelism - as a pure process - in a negative light... As I have written, everybody is trying to sell something, and freedom of speech is included in the First Amendment, too. It's always easiest to throw people one disagrees with into the miscellaneous same basket...
