I also apologize since sometimes my reactions are rather more childish than they're supposed to be (I blame senility). I think using the Word of God in any situation is appropriate and hopefully, it is being used accurately and true to context. Nevertheless, didn't all the apostles and prophets stand before kings and courts and public riots using the Word of God and the Gospel for their defense?
