I am a Twice Born Bible believing man, and yet I think condemning others for whatever social standards and arbitrary reasons is wrong. It's hypocritical. The Bible condemns illicit behaviors - both the heterosexual and the homosexual deviations from the Mosaic Law. Yet, the Bible provides a way out - not justifying our hurtful and harmful behaviors but a way turn and to escape the ultimate consequences - both physical and metaphysical.

I'm not sure I am being clear here, but imposing personal morality and ethics on others' personal thought and behavior which does no one else harm is beyond petty and ridiculous. On the other extreme, no one has the right to take another's life. So such behavior is obviously and rightly made illegal.

There is a big difference.
