I could understand your response in two different ways: Either my response was compassionate, empathetic, and sympathetic to a point of view, or your meaning was dripping with sarcasm and intending to be acerbic. I am leaning toward the latter and am guessing you are trying to defend your colleague. Protecting a fellow human being is an honorable pursuit, but have you taken my suggestion to listen to either person I suggested? Too often we can fall into the error of not really listening and making snap judgements.
