I have two sons who did tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Fortunately, they came back in one piece. Many, many other sons and daughters did not.

Almost immediately, I recognized the fear in those elected to be ou r Representatives in Congress which froze them - as if in the grips of War - paralyzing them, making them go deaf and dumb and unable to mount any resistance to the evil overwhelming their constituencies.

The death of the Free Press - and America as well - has become obvious to me when I learned MSNBC fired two stand up anchors - both women and both black - along with a Spanish heritage male anchor who did stand up, and even worse, none of the other anchors walked off in protest... Every TV News anchor are suddenly towing the line Kowtowing to the in subservience, marching to the beat of MAGA's Marching Band.
