I haven't really gotten into the controversy as in, "Did God appoint Hitler?" The only thing I observed in Paul' letters has been "Keep your heads down and don't draw attention to yourselves. "Render unto Caesar..." All because Christianity was illegal, an offense to the Caesar who called himself god. Likewise the Jewish religious leaders were out to get them.
