I keep my mind active by trying to respond intelligently to writers on Medium. My regular essays require comparing translations, Greek definitions, and prayer, editing and re-editing before I pass my best efforts on to my wife who I have designated my Editor-in-chief. During my own efforts, using MerriamWebster.com (both dictionary and thesaurus) and making executive decisions on whether or not to go with Enhanced Spellcheck phrasing changes... up to this year I gardened, but I've forgotten all the plans and procedures necessary to get a healthy harvest. (We use to have a freezer full of tomatoes and other veggies and apples, but nothing this year. Oh well!) I don't drive anymore so my wife tells me to exercise my brain more and my mouth less... We usually have a "George and Gracie" routine before we turn the bedtime lights off... I'm not sure nonsensical qualifies as mind exercise though... Thanks for asking... hope you're not sorry you asked...
