Similarly, I have railed against the trend of individuals and professionals alike to misuse the acronym PTSD . Everybody who is even slightly traumatized claims they have PTSD. I rebuke them saying "If you haven.'t been blown up several times in the Theater o thatotf Operations or under that threat constantly for a period of time, you ain't got PTSD." Of course, I get a whole lot of responses to my opinion, but I'm not nearly as nice as you, and quite frankly, I don't give a flying fart (or something to that effect).
