I see your point. Predestination has been wrestled out of Biblical context by a word here, a phrase there, and the Scriptures warn against twisting the message in that kind of way.
" Once I was lost..." and thus predestined for destruction," but "now I'm found" ...I turned to Jesus to save my sorry ass, and then I became predestined for eternal life. The same can be true for any and every body. I
If a Scripture seems to be in conflict with another, it's not the Scriptures, it is our understanding of them... (that is , our misunderstanding them).
