I understand. Okay... Being born again is a directive by Jesus of Nazareth, the Jewish Messiah, and after the personal experience, certain qualities of character in a person will start to emerge on a continual process. Sometimes they are called the fruits of the Spirit: "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. " - Galatians 5:22-23, NLV. There are other characteristics, and by the by I have not "arrived" at some sort of perfection in Human terms. So, I apologize for any personal offense taken. We all have a strong tendency to cling to personal beliefs that will justify ourselves. But Jesus said that it is necessary to be born a second time, and this is because everyone has "sinned," that is disobeyed God, going our own ways and in the process, doing hurt and harm to ourselves and to others. If I see that, in my opinion, someone is not born that second time, I am required to point that our to a person. Their response will either confirm my fears or correct my error. Born again Bible Believing Christians, in my experience welcome correction. Then, there is also this from Paul's second letter to Timothy: "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." - 3:16. I've spent decades applying the Bible to my life, and going to God for thorough correction within in order to manifest the fruits without in all my living. If you have more corrections for me, I'll certainly listen.
