I was glad when I first read the Scriptures in this highly paraphrased version, but it wasn't long before I realized that the paraphrasers inserted - consciously or unconsciously - a lot of their personally held dogma. So, I rarely utilize it these days, except if I want to hear someone's opinion... Just sayin'.
