Illustrating again that you don't listen. Mormons exist because of what they believe that justifies that choice. I am a Bible Believing Christian that is justified through interaction with God, Jesus, and the Bible, that is my experiences in real life have justified my belief. I don't justify my belief on only what the Bible says, or where it comes from, or how accurate its writings are or are not. Everything I read in the Bible has proven to be true., especially in living out its truths. People, such as myself, also are very open to sharing our lives and how we spend our time and what the livin God has accomplished in our lives - mostly in spite of ourselves.
Also, by the by, when anyone publishes publicly, I feel the freedom to respond publicly. And when someone attacks my fellow Believers, I feel a certain obligation to respond.
As for my time< I can share a little bit...I garden - but not as much as I used to, because my youth and perseverance has somehow flown the coop... Maybe it happened while I was sleeping - which a seem to be doing way too often. I listen to News. Stephen Colbert, and the MSNBC anchors. I study and research regarding the Bible texts, but when any of the grandkids come over, they are the focus of my attention, even though I find it quite difficult to keep up with them. About four days a seek I go to appointments with my Cardiologist, or my Neurologist, or my Podiatrist. of my regular General Practitioner. Twice a week a listen to Brooklyn Tabernacle. Of course, Patty and I spend time talking. making meals and watching movies starring some of our favorite actors - from Westerns to Sci-Fi to Biographical stories, to Documentaries, to Action and Drama. There's a bunch of actors we favor from Sir Patrick Stewart to Jennifer Lawrence. Sometimes after cleaning up the kitchen, I'll just sit and stare at the sky, the trees, the birds, the gardens... Many times I think about what serious mistakes I've made in my life and how it hurt or harmed others... Etc.
