I'm a Born Again Bible Believing Christian who, like Processor Emeritus John Lennox, also believes in Science. To your point regarding food safety, God made food laws about clean and unclean foods, and it wasn't just an arbitrary Law to test the level of obedience of the Hebrews. God knew some foods were dangerous even if unseen - as in trichinosis, the Black Death. and Covid-19. If one looks at that kist in the Bible, you just might agree,,,
