I've lost all sequence to our discussion, but... Your insistance on saying my differentiation between relationship and religion is not valid, let me try another way of explaning: The Bible is a history of God's chosen people, showing their good, their bad, and their ugly responses to God's interventions in their lives - in other words their personal experiences as God's "chosen." Doctrines were derived from those stories at an intellectual level, but faith in those derivative doctines is vastly different from faith derived from personal experiences with the Biblical God - God who intervenes in idividuals' lives. It's like the difference between book learning how to sail a boat and getting out on the open Ocean by oneself in the wind and the waves and the application of such reading.
