Many of my working class people - Union or non - have been avoiding self checkouts like the plague, but it sems to be inevitable as cahier lines are simply eliminated, giving shoppers no choice. Employees have always been the enemy of ballooning profits, and "they" just can't get enough profits, now, can they?
