Therefore, the two separate lineages: the sons and daughters of of men and the separate lineage of the children of God - so named and designated...

By the by, the word "holy" simply meant "separate" and in the Biblical context, "separated for God's purposes."

So "holy" was an ongoing process of separating out people for God's purposes.
