My Dad once pointed out to me that the Super-rich had a stock market tactic of massive selling off where the watchers wouuld see and join the sell off.

When the particular stock would fall low enough, the Super-rich would scoop up that stock at the highly discounted price.

The watchers would then hurredly join the buy back, and that stock would jump right back to where it was (if not higher) and the Super-rich would become even richer.

So, you're absolutely correct, advocating for a stronger framework...
