My opinion, of course, but it seems you are using a lot of rhetoric to get around both Jesus' and the Apostles' teaching about Christian involvement in politics. For example you have chosen to redefine "politics" which is your elegant way of justifying your opinion.
The closest one to your definition I found at MerriamWebster.com is this: "the total complex of relations between people living in society. "
Yet, all the same, doesn't the Bible call us out from society to be God's peculiar people - not Society's?
Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
What is your understanding of the meaning and the precipitating implications of tJesus assertion?
Both Peter and Paul advise keeping our heads down and focusing on things above and not on things here below, as in the sections with this advice "Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king." Coupled with this, "No man can serve two masters." and, of course:
…What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." - 2 Corinthians 6:17, Berean Standard Bible.
Again, just by redefining a word to suit your preferences and burying the truth with a pike or rhetoric doesn't change Jesus' viewpoint and teachings.
