Perhaps errantly, but in several of my essays I rail against denominational churches, because they stopped representing the Gospel, God, Jesus, and the Bible through edicts proclaimed by synods, conclaves, councils, and other self-appointed religious leadership.

What I prescribe is a grass roots personal revival and as a group, seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and an receiving, hopefully, the ensuing outpouring of the Holy Spirit to guide and empower them.

Unfortunately today the Holy Spirit has been relegated to simply membership in any church - which, of course, in my opinion, is just another example us of falling short. as in this verse:

",,,for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." = Romans 3:23. Berean Standard Bible.
