Quite a boilng pot of word soup!

You correctly wrote, "Beliefs are active assertions that a state of affairs is true in the actual world." Let me assert that believing something is true doesn't make it true. Yes. Yet, Biblical faith is not just blindly assuming. Faith is substantive,and paragmatic, dynamic and consequential, existential and morally transcedental. Otherwise it woud be that round and round carousel you have described. "...and few find it."
