Recently, in my research of textual meanings of Greek words, I found this little gem, which is not earth-shaking, but squares with the Genesis story of the Fall of Man. Men's lives became very difficult from that day until today. The Greek word for "respect" also implies an empathetic understanding and disposition, and in this particular text on marriage, a recognition of Man's curse.
