Since I started to read the Bible in earnest, I have thought of logos in the Bible as encompassing the complete idea, nature, and character of God, not unlike the logos of NFL teams - although very much more involved and impactful. (see John 1:1-5 and 1 John 1:1-4) The Word of God is very real and not an ethereal concept.
At least, my wife and I have found Him to be so, because of what He has accomplished for us since we first turned to Him.
