So much to share, but so little time to share it!

Recently, I learned how Science has evolved from a theistic framework in the 16th through the 18th Centuries to an atheistic framework in the early 20th Century. The theistic framework postulated that God exists who Created the Universe and everything in it. Then, because God is super-intelligent, everything He made makes sense. Therefore, Scientists are able to discover its universal operational laws. In other words, people can figure out how everything works through observation, experimentation, and proof testing hypotheses.

Thus, conclusions can be drawn and more importantly put into practice and thereby new discoveries can be made within the Sciences, the Creator as its foundation…

The Bible is not unlike that method of gaining knowledge. Its historical accounts are the basic framework for revealing God and His revelations about His very nature and how we should live and grow into a morally opulent way of living. Built upon that foundation, we can find the way to live our lives, overflowing with kindness toward one another. It was proven over and over in the History of His “Chosen People”earmarked for those exact purposes…

Sometimes they learned the hard way, and sometimes the easy way… Don’t we often learn in the exact same way?

(I had to keep bumping my head against the wall, because it felt so good to stop… You?)

Anyways…

In the decade of the 60’s, I learned to be a good boy by simply regurgitating whatever the teacher told me was true. That gave me A’s & B’s during my adolescent experience, and I was rewarded with my High School Diploma.

By that time God had been flushed out of most of the local schools and universities around the country. God was “out” — Hubble’s Big Bang and Darwin’s Evolution were “in” — and critical thinking was also tossed.

Did you know that Hubble discovered that the Universe was expanding? That they decide it began with The Big Bang, approximated to have occurred 13.8 billion years ago?

Unfortunately, when Creationism was tossed, that is, when Society and Educational Systems thought they had arrived at a better way, the systems of morality were also tossed.

If there is no God to rule, who sits on that throne? Actually, I like how Oxford’s Professor Emeritus, John Lennox puts it, saying that if there is No Lawgiver, there is no moral Law.

Lennox also challenges the atheistic approach to Science, that is, the philosophical question of “Where did God come from?” — If the Big Bang is true, where did that super compressed ball of energy come from?

If the answer is “It always existed and spontaneously exploded.” …

Well did you ever realize that these two conclusions were first vehemently rejected? They were anathema to the atheist Scientists, because the theory matched the theistic understanding of the Bible’s account!

To me, that doesn’t sound very much like a Scientific argument. The reaction is more akin to an egotistical one.

Look. The word “existential” is tossed around very loosely these days. The word is centered solely on the reality that we exist, and the ensuing philosophical question is”Knowing that we exist, what exactly do we do with our existence?

Today, hasn’t the atheistic theoretical viewpoint become our reality? It is born out in our deteriorating Social conditions. The hate. The discord. Perpetual wars. Neglect of the poor and the foreigner.

Please, keep in mind that these conditions exist only because of what we have decided to do with our existence.

We are our own existential threat.

But look at the theistic existential view anchored in the Bible

“He has shown you, O man, what is good.

And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” — Micah 6:8.”
