Such intellectual exercises have existed from the beginning of the revelation of Jesus, that is from the beginning of His ministry in the Judea areas to the Day of Pentecost with the Disciples and other Believers. The apostles warned of false teachers, false apostles, false documents that were in circulation even while they were first preaching the Gospel and communicating with various assemblies of Believers. It doesn't surprise me of "newfound" information that has been dug up and other supposed scholarly research purposed against people responding to God, Jesus, and the Bible. What has made me a Believer is no intellectual process but all the pragmatic changes which have occurred and are still occurring in my life. Still and all, a lot of of my essays are intellectually geared to clean up as may misundeerstandings and their precipitatin misconceptions of God, Jesus, and the Bible.
