First I agree with the ideals you wrote "which emphasizes mercy, justice, and guidance." Still and all, where we get that guidance from raises as the pivotal question, where do we actually get our guidance.

Certainly this Bible verse is not at all pointed to your beliefs, and yet the Aramaic Bible in Plain English reveals the difficulty"

"No man can work for two masters, for either he will hate one and will love the other, or he will honor one and the other he will ignore. You cannot work for God and for money."

The attempts for universal unitarianism cannot happen, even among those dvirgent denominations who claim to follow the teachings of Jesus. My point is who decides which path will lead a person to live out such ideals as mercy and justice?
