Thank you for this article. I have come to call most news "Infotainment," and that is bad enough, but after reading your essay and watching the video, the situation is apparently much worse. I have been relying on MSNBC, but now it will be will with "a grain of salt" or maybe a whole bag of salt... The whole world is sliding sideways in all kinds of different ways, and it will continue until God says, "Enough is enough!" and brings the curtain down. Not for nothing , I rely on The Colbert Report for straight talk.
