First of all, PM Netanyahu is no King David, nor even a King Hezekiah, but is much more like a King Ahab...
Secondly, both Peoples are descendents of the Patriarch Abraham. They started out as brothers, became enemies (for good reason), but later became reconciled. Yet the two families continued to follow their own God-given paths separately...
Third, at some point, both nations "got religion" and have found reasons to hate each other ever since. (Odd, isn't it...)
Fourth, God didn't restore the nation of Israel after the Great Diaspora, Governments of other peoples did. So, of course, it's messed up to the max! That's what people do...
Fifth, way back when, the first people to inhabit the land were the Canaanites, but because they were so evil, God decided it was time to fulfill His promise to Abraham and supplanted that people with His own, the Hebrew Nation. (So, it was the Amorites etc who first lived in the land - not the Palestinians.)
Sixth, and it is so very unfortunate, the IDF has absolutely nothing like the U.S. Seal Team Six to deploy and surgically accomplish their mission with little or no significant collateral damage. It's surgery with a recking ball instead of a scalpel...
Seventh, and this gets into the region of Bible prophecy, the man of sin , the Man of Lawlessness, will first plant himself in the Temple at Jerusalem, declaring himself to be god. Shortly thereafter (although it will seem like an eternity), the end will come as Messiah returns with His Angel Army., not the Lamb of God, but the Lion of Judah...
So, there's that...
