Some critics of God, Jesus, and the Bible try to paint God as mean, an out-of-control tyran.

The view I espouse and try to share is that the Bible represents God - who has given Humanity free will - as revealing His character and purposes through an histoical account, warts and all, a meat and potatoes, no frills added representation.
