"The Lakota Sioux primarily fought against the Pawnee tribe for land, as they migrated westward and competed for the rich hunting grounds in the central plains, particularly the Republican River Valley; other tribes they sometimes clashed with included the Crow, Arikara, and Shoshone, depending on the region and time period." - Sometimes we don't live up to our ideals - whether as individuals or groups. My favorite tribe is the Iroquois (part of the Iroquois Nations were the Senecas who still live around here).
