There's a lot of idealism dredged up from the entirety ot the web, simiar to the drug-addled dreams of the 60-s, and so, a lot of holes coupled with them. Big Money still rules the roost and it is a Beast which needs o,miscient intervention. There might still be a few posckets of farmers from the hippie generation that succededbut Corporate Farming still is the mainstay of global food production. Every family needs at least 40 acres to feed themselves, and backyard gardens - especially in cities that have families living on top of one another - have no way of supplying sustenance for the scope of entire years. Finally, the dversity in points of view as to morality and ethcs, philosophy and religion, prevent the "kum-ba-yah" universalism needed for sustaining peace between differing and divergent points of view. Oh, and robots seem to have the idea that they can run the world much better than humans - so there's that not-so- SciFi "Terminator" type threat...
