We just lost a Japanese tire plant here. My 30 year Employer left town moving to Tennessee. So we know the pain... and so do all the other small businesses who depend on such Employees to support them - whether bars and restaurants, clothing stores ,or suppliers of raw and packaging materials. etc. etc. Towns lose so much revenue that they are stressed to stay alive. Since somewhere in the mid 20th Century, we've lost Steel Mills, Flour Mills, Malls, and God knows what else. As always, Unions are an easy target for ascribing blame... "It's their greed, not our mismanagement." The Blame Game has been around since Adam and Eve.
