Well, no. God is capable of great violence. From Moses and the plagues of Egypt, Noah's Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah. the supplanting of the Canaanite populations. Oh oh , and the end of the world... "The fear of the Lord..." is ignored to the ideal of the God of love.

I guess this all might depend on which side you choose to be on.

God certainly has the intent to redeem everyone and show His lovingkindness, but not everyone is willing to change sides.
