What danger that concerns me about people "deconstructing faith" is from where they buy the new construction materials to build a new faith - not unlike "jumping out of the pot and into the fire..." This is to say, are people scraping out the barrel to simply put different crap in? My testimony is that I left church attendance to follow nowhere in particular burdened by many questions (like "why do You allow wars?") where God eventually led me to turn to get right with God and accept Jesus' forgiveness, receiving the "born again" experience. Faith became a verb instead of a noun. God became here not out there somewhere... an interactive relationship with the Creator of the Universe. Unbelievably amazing! What I am trying to say it all starts and ends with Jesus. We do not need to do anything on our own or figure things out on our own. James said "if anyone lacks insight, he should ask God who gives liberally without finding fault!"
