Anyways, your statement that "it would have gotten zero reads" is probably true as the platform suggests including pictures to grab public interest. Not convinced that either is a good strategy for wide appeal, because after the first line, those who are attracted by pictures or titles, would also stop reading! Nevertheless, keep trying to so good seed in the hope they find good ground.
