Where is Love?

November 27, 2023

This is something that I wrote almost 50 years ago, and if there is any significant edit that I make for today, it will be bracketed { }.

The Bible affirms that there is no greater love than a person giving his life for another, and “God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (John 15:13 and Romans 5:8)

Jesus gave His life to save you and me from sin, {that is.moral error}, and all the evil {that is, hostile and harmful activity} so prevalent in the world today.

“While we were yet sinners…” while we still oppose God, even {express} hate {towards} God, misunderstand God, and while we still live selfish, sinful lives, God remains faithful, reaching out to us, arms open wide! “Behold! I stand at the door and knock. If any person hears me and opens the door, I will come in to them and dine with them and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

Where is love?

God has love {for us beyond our understanding}, but you can know God’s love for you through Jesus. Jesus’ promise: “I will give to those who are thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.” (Revelation 21:6)

Open the door of your heart for Jesus today. You will never regret it.

{“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6 Only people who are actually serious seekers need to answer the door…}
