With respect: Didn't the Koran and Islam develop a long time after Jesus' life on Earth? And if Jesus is considered a prophet of God, are Islamic prophets liars? Does it make any sense to ignore that Jesus claimed to be "the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through him?"

Yes, many Bible references use the term "Son of God" - Adam being the first and Jesus being the last. Other references are like gratuitous commemorations of heritage. Notwithstanding, the uniqueness of Jesus' sonship is twofold - being with the Father from before the Creation and, most importantly, was conceived, not by a man in the usual way, but by the Holy Spirit - not by natural procreation. This is the key to understanding his sinless nature and not having an inherited sinful natural - the normal human nature.

The New Testament is very specific about these things. So, the Islamic perspective that you present cannot be true. It's an either or construct.
