Yeah, I've gotten that accusation too, but I think your response is accurate, and if I might comment on the circular reasoning argument - it also has a philosophical reasoning problem: it is attempting to set up a "Straw Man" to avoid answering the reasonable. For example, isn't it like quoting a History Book to prove history? A Science Book to prove Science? Etc? In fact, repetition of the same experimental hypothesis is a fundamental part of the Scientific Method!
