Yes, the earth provides. Yes, people can be greedy. Yet, the earth can be greedy, too. There are many things in Nature that will kill or do lesser harms and hurt us in a myriad of other ways. Money may have become a way to gain power over people, but it evolved from the simple barter system where I would do something for you and you would exchange that service with some thing that I put value on - like the old-fashioned fur traders. In some African nation there was a type of shell used like Western Civilizations use coins. Still, it was all about bartering. It wasn't an item of worship.

Oh, by the way, it takes me forever to type anything, because my fingers don't work like they use to (nor my brain). So I use the "enhanced spell check" to highlight my mistakes. Sometimes, especially with AI suggestions, trying to tell me what I mean, when it isn't what I mean, has become an problem instead of a help.
